There are hundreds of non-profits that you can choose to give to, and the process of selecting which organization to support can feel like a daunting task. However, notwithstanding my involvement in activities finalized in effective interventions to break the cycle of poverty, here I just ask you to demonstrate some sympathy for me and my blog by wearing or using something that will attract curiosity towards you and my blog. Please understand this is not a real shop, I provide customized items as a form of support for my private cultural activities and research. As a result, you are donating me a fixed amount of money (20 USD). As a supporter, you are entitled to receive one among the many objects available in the shop. Such selection is done at the time you click the donate button.

Article 2. Applicability of the terms and conditions

The donor agrees and accepts the general terms and conditions, on every offer of Scubarob Adventure Log. They have priority over the general terms and conditions of consumers. They cannot be changed, unless otherwise explicitly agreed between the parties. Scubarob Adventure Log may, at any time, unilaterally amend these terms and conditions. Placing a donation on the Scubarob Adventure Log website implies explicit acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Article 3. Presentation

The images of the gifts on the website are as accurate as possible, but are purely informative, and cannot bind Scubarob Adventure Log in any way. Moreover, Scubarob Adventure Log cannot be held responsible for any failures or mistakes that might occur on the website. Scubarob Adventure Log will describe the features and properties of the gifts as completely as possible. The donor can always contact Scubarob Adventure Log via email to receive additional information about the gifts.

Article 4. Selection and payment

To select a gift, the donor must click the button under the item and devolve a donation to Scubarob Adventure Log. To complete the donation the donor must fill-in his contact, billing information and delivery method. Also, the payment method will be listed, namely Paypal. Finally, the donor will be led to the “confirmation page” on which the donation’s details will be listed. The donation has been completed and the agreement is final as soon as the total value is transferred to the account of Scubarob Adventure Log. Donations will be processed only when the payment has passed, and Scubarob Adventure Log has received the quoted amount on its account. Scubarob Adventure Log has the right to cancel or postpone further deliveries from a donor when a due payment has not yet been received, or the previous donation has not yet been finalized. Scubarob Adventure Log must inform the donor about this choice, and cannot be obligated to fulfill this or further donations.

Article 5. Delivery

Scubarob Adventure Log delivers worldwide; however, any expenses beyond shipping and handling are excluded (import duties, etc.). Scubarob Adventure Log engages itself to have a delivery lead time of maximally 30 days. The donor is responsible for supplying a correct and deliverable address, for checking the delivered wares, and for reporting any complaints to within 8 days via email or letter. Scubarob Adventure Log cannot be held responsible for troubles caused resulting from the delivery by mail, except when the cause of the damage can be attributed to negligence by Scubarob Adventure Log.

Article 6. Compliance and warranty

For gifts sent to donors, the warranty depends on the manufacturer and donor’s country; the donor also acknowledges that given the nature of the transaction (a donation) Scubarob Adventure Log must not respect any statutory minimum warranty period. However, the donor can complain about the quality or damages of any gift within 8 days of the delivery by sending an unequivocal statement sent via registered mail or email with a receipt. Scubarob Adventure Log will then send a confirmation of receipt via email. Depending on the circumstances, Scubarob Adventure Log may at its complete discretion exchange or substitute the gift with another. Limited support is provided for gifts designed or manufactured to the specific needs of the donor, such as custom trophies, medals, keychains, clothes, notebooks, etc.

Article 8. Applicable law and territorial jurisdiction

All contracts are considered as completed on Scubarob Adventure Log address. They are governed by Italian law. In case of dispute, only the courts of the judicial district of Turin are qualified.
